Redwood has natural tannins so is NOT treated with nasty chemicals. It is a slightly softer timber than Macrocarpa so is more susceptible to vandalism if used for commercial use.

Redwood is also considerably lighter than Macrocarpa, so ideal if the furniture is going to be moved.

The inner core of the tree is a deep burgundy and the outer rings of the tree are cream so it makes beautiful, unique furniture. You can choose from the selection at our sites or have furniture custom made to meet your individual requirements. As with all our furniture the trees in which the furniture is made from have been hit by a natural disaster (usually lightening).
